Museum SAN (Space Art Nature) opened in May 2013 in a minimalist concrete building designed by famous architect Tadao Ando. The museum also features artworks by James Turrell, who focuses on light and space. The museum spreads in a line from the Welcome Center to the Flower Garden, Water Garden, main building, Meditation Hall, Stone Garden, and finally, James Turrell Hall. The main building features four wings designed using squares, triangles, and circles, connecting walls, the sky, and people. In addition to the permanent and special exhibitions, the museum also offers hands-on experience programs.
