Ganghyunjae is a hankok guesthouse where you can take a break in the quiet atmosphere of a rural village. The guesthouse provides the entire house for the guests, so only one team can stay at the guesthouse at a time. It is a safe place to stay with a self check-in system. The 60-year-old hanok house has a quiet and still atmosphere. The hanok house was completely burned during the Korean War, and was rebuilt as a bed and breakfast. A window wall installed in the veranda (toenmaru) makes the indoor space cosy and snug. There are four rooms in the guesthouse along the toenmaru. In Sarangbang, there is teaware for guests to enjoy tea. Next to the space with a big dining tables is the kitchen, which is fully equipped with refrigerator, electronic rice cooker, microwave, electric stove, air fryer, and kitchen utensils for convenient cooking. The indoor bathroom is also kept clean. On one side of the front yard, there is an outdoor barbecue facility. The house next to Ganghyunjae is the birth place of Seo Jae-pil. You can visit Juamho Lake in Hwasun, Daewonsa Temple, Seo Jaepil Memorial Park, and a sculpture park while you stay at the guesthouse.
