Gouhan Farm Pension is an accommodation that overlooks the seaside of Deungnyangman in Duwon-myeon, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do. The pretty view of the round and colorful pension building nestled in a citron forest looks like a page from a children’s story book. A unique feature of this pension is that you can participate in activities using citrons. There is a total of five guest rooms in Gouhan Farm Pension. The Dome House that is good for a family of four is the pension’s signature guest room. The building has a semicircle-like shape, and has a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining table, and a sofa. There is also a 100-square-meter multi-unit building where up to 12 people can stay. The building has a two-room unit and a one-room unit. Depending on the number of guests, the units can be booked separately. The rooms have a bathroom and a kitchen inside. All guest rooms are equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator, a rice cooker, and a microwave for cooking. However, grilling is only permitted in the outdoor barbecue table in front of each pension building. The pension’s facilities include a grass field where you can play volleyball or foot volleyball, a walking trail, an observation deck, and an outdoor trampoline. In particular, guests can enjoy a variety of programs using organic citrons and pomegranates grown in the farm in the Citron Experience Hall. The programs include farm visit, citron tea making class, pomegranate tea making class, fruit punch making class, citron pizza making class, and candle making class. Daejeon Beach that stretches long with white sand and dense pine forest is only a five minutes’ walk from the pension. South Korea’s first meteorite site is 2 minutes away, and Goheungman Cherry Blossom Street with a 7.4-km long cherry blossom tunnel is 5 minutes away.
